What is Tene?

Tene lets you tell your private "circles" what you're doing right now, so the people you choose can show up. There are no group chats and no public broadcast — you share only with circles you create.

Common questions

• Signing in. Tene uses your phone number and a one-time code (OTP) sent by SMS. If the code doesn't arrive, wait a minute and tap resend, and check that your number and country code are correct.
• Creating a post. Tap the post tab, describe what you're doing, pin the spot, choose a duration, and pick which circles can see it. Location is used only while your post is active, to confirm you're at the spot you pin.
• Circles. Create a circle, then add people by sharing an invite link or by picking specific contacts. Tene never uploads or syncs your address book — only the single contact you pick is checked.
• RSVPs. Respond to a friend's post with Coming, Maybe, or Can't. Hosts can see who's coming.
• Notifications. Turn notifications on to hear when something happens in your circles. You can manage them in your device settings and in the app's Settings.
• Reporting & blocking. You can report a post or user, or block someone, from the post's menu. Blocked users stay hidden from you.

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your account any time from Settings → Delete my account. This is immediate and irreversible — it removes your profile, the circles you own, your posts, and your RSVPs. You can also email us to request deletion. See our Privacy Policy for details.
