Tene — Child Safety Standards

Tene is a social app for coordinating real-life plans within private "circles" you create. Tene is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes our standards and how we act on them.

Our standards against CSAE

• We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation of any kind on Tene, including creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or promoting CSAM, and any grooming, sexualization, or exploitation of a minor.
• Tene is an 18+ product. Accounts are for adults, and the app is not designed for or marketed to children.
• There is no public feed and no open discovery on Tene — content is shared only with the private circles a user creates. This limits exposure, but it does not lessen our commitment: CSAE is never tolerated, in any space in the app.

Reporting and blocking, in the app

Every post and every user on Tene can be reported and blocked directly from the app:

• Report a post or report a user from the menu (•••) on any post you can see.
• Block a user from the same menu — blocked users are immediately hidden from you and can no longer reach you.
• Reports are received by us and reviewed. We act on violations we confirm.

How we handle violations

• Content removal. Content that violates these standards is removed.
• Account termination. Accounts involved in CSAE are terminated. We can suspend an account immediately and permanently remove it, which deletes the account and its associated content (profile, owned circles, posts, and RSVPs).
• Reporting to authorities. Where we identify confirmed child sexual abuse material, we report it to the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia and, where applicable, to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we preserve related information as required to support their work.

Legal compliance

We operate in Saudi Arabia and comply with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where Tene is available, including Saudi Arabia. We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities relating to child safety.
